I was genuinely excited when I heard about TOC! I could not wait to see the battles. I am sorely disappointed. It isn't about who is best, it is about who is better in a one time cook. I've seen many people win because of luck, not skill. Won't waste my time watching since it's not a true competition. Another complaint is to see a young chef, new to the scene, be disrespectful to those who have paved the way for them. The path they will travel was forged by these OGs and to dismiss them and their talents with a wave of their hand or taunting words is terrible.
