Was really looking forward to this movie as I loved the Toy Story movies, however I found it incredibly unremarkable. The tone, setting and storyline are all very dull, the action sequences feel stretched out and tired and the entire plot in general is very lackluster. Moreover, the side characters just aren't very likeable (even annoying at times), with Buzz and Sox being the only likeable characters in the film. I think expectations were high given the quality of the Toy Story films, but Lightyear is very disappointing as an origin story for such a crucial Toy Story character :/
