I loved this film. There are layers and layers to the meaning, beyond the romance. The Fascist design of the station is the backdrop to social mores (she is having an affair), and it was illegal to kiss in public back then, so imagine the reaction of the police to finding them, well, indisposed. If you like Italian film, watch this.

Funny, smart and a foodie's dream, Mid-August lunch is a gem! The stars are women who have never acted professionally, yet they steal the show! If you can get the "extras," interviews with all the actors, do watch. Today is Ferragosto, August 15th, and to celebrate, I'll watch this again and make an Italian seafood dish.
