As a fan of the original books, this TV show is great! Obviously a lot faster paced than the books, but it is very great seeing this as a TV Series. I think a lot of thought and planning has been put in place for this and I'm extremely happy with how the series has progressed. All the details, can't be there (similar to how movies will never capture the depth of detail in books), but it strikes a good balance to keep the viewers engaged. Not sure those who give this show a 1 star really know how hard it is to create a TV series -- arm chair internet critics at it's finest.
