Phillip Roth and David Simon have produced a powerful story that’s way too plausible and unfortunately way too relevant to the present. This is probably the most-important thing you’ll watch or read in the next few years. The story is gripping, well-cast, well-acted, production values off the charts. The Wire was the best thing on TV and you can see the same fingerprints all over this.
