As informative as the show is, it seems as though the producers made very little effort to be all inclusive. As an example the bamboo bike was invented by a gentleman in Africa, no mention was made of this fact.
Also, except for the one episode where the black Puerto Rican 10 year old kid was highlighted it appears as though the filmmakers made a deliberate effort to avoid black owned, black ran, black supported eco conscious innovators. Allth the main characters and those held out to be experts are whit. When they did interview "locals", guess what? They were either white, light skinned or an expat from you guessed it, European origin. I was hoping for some type of sensitivity in this regard to shkw up. It never did. 😔
