Death Wish Blues is a great album, just like every other release by Sam going all the way back to Girls with Guitars. They’re a bit different from each other, and all are great. This is her first true collaboration (this time with Jesse Dayton), and I hope they do so again as it brings new creative ideas and new potential fans. Samantha may not have won a Grammy today with Death Wish Blues, but her time will come.
