This was impactful social commentary on an issue that mirrors the ones we face still face today. The satire is well written and painfully close to home. The comedy in this film is well-written but I felt it was too realistic to laugh.
Paired with the amazing performances from a very talented cast, Don’t Look Up is a devastating tale about the inevitable destruction of the earth and the efforts that are made - or lack thereof - to prevent it. I enjoyed this film, as uncomfortable as it made me feel. It has a way of addressing the issues of today in a way that really lands.
