Spoilers Firstly I liked most of the movie until the end here the resistance and Rey starts a final assault on the emperor's new secret base that no one knew about that happened to have metal and a work force capable of creating the so called largest fleet known in the galaxy. They have barely anything fighting a hundreds to thousands of super star destroyers with huge guns that can blow up a planet each. They survive until reinforcements can come and help them from the core worlds. That it not the worst part the worst part is with Rey being able to kill Sheev Palpatine after grabbing the light saber that kilo was just using. He might be able to fight Yoda to a stand still, the strongest Jedi in cannon, might be able to kill Mace Windu who is known as one of the best duelist of his age, he can stun/destroy hundreds of ships right before he is killed but cant stop a "Jedi" with maybe 1 week of training with a master and maybe one year of "Jedi" experience. They can't use the excuse of he was old because he uses lighting to hit every ship that the whole galaxy can muster to fight his fleet which either disables the ship and was destroying others. I would feel a ending where Darth Sidious force lightnings Rey down the same hole he just tossed Ben Solo into but force ghost Yoda, Mace, Ken-obi, Anakin or someone stops her and throws her back on land and then they all show up and fight him then Ben Solo climbs up the hole and gets the final blow like his grandfather before him but this time kills him. This would be a much better ending to a saga that was around for generations in my opinion. Then have Rey and Ben reforge the Jedi and show years later how strong they, the Jedi, and republic as a whole becomes. Sounds cliche but sounds better to me at least. Also when dose Sheev Palpatine the emperor of pretty much the whole galaxy get enough free time to have a child that later becomes a parent of Rey. Why doesn't he trains his own child if he wants a heir or just in general. Someone put it better who would want to have a child with that freak.
