Me and my sister loved it! The story is more different than we thought. There were references from some games. Matt Patt has a minor role in the movie! And he said his favorite word "theory" in a line, it's a good surprise! It's a bit less bloody than expected but I guess they had to for PEGI 13. Bit of plot twist near the end (Vanessa's full link with the antagonist, I won't say more)

Me and my little sister loved it! Visuals are flawless, they kept almost all french voices, only king penguin changed. Lot of references (we had some surprises!), they used 3 non Mario songs but the 1st one only for the penguins snow throwing moment. Sis was skeptical about the bathroom repair scene but I didn't mind. We didn't think the movie was too short or long, too slow or fast. We hope for a Mario movie style Mario Kart! Movies cannot be perfect for everyone but we think it's a great start for Nintendos movies!
