If you know the story, the movie was ok. It skipped a powerful portion of time in the earlier life of Queen Mary. I did enjoy the supposedly "sisterhood" relationship between the 2 queens. Also, the part where her son decides on the exicution of his mother is a bit more of a dramatic end. The TV series is much better.
