Ok I know they are saying this tv series is like the OC and laguna beach, probably because those shows resonate more with the generation they are catering to. But having watched both shows I can tell you they are not that, and instead this show is very much like the Goonies. If they would have made the Goonies into a tv series this would be it. It has all the elements: a treasure hunt, two socieconomically distinct groups (goonies/pogues vs rich kids/kooks), the two goons chasing after them, the crazy fratelli mother who owns the house where the purported treasure is suspected to be (episode 6), the unlikely friendships. I gave it 4 stars because of the drugs/language/violence.
