Really needed to play these games, that somehow have only just been remastered for modern consoles. It’s been done properly. The original is preserved where it matters and the textures and models have been updated in a non intrusive manner. Some people will complain about how badly the controls have aged. I don’t see a problem. Just how sonic and Mario require a side scroll button layout, TR requires it’s tank controls, because, the game is basically a series or squares and triangles, all of which require a good degree of precision and accuracy to navigate. All in all, it amounts to actual gameplay, that won’t molest you with constant cutscenes and desperately crumbling climbing apparatus, which no longer provides any thrill or surprise to the modern gamer.
