Not bad, but very bland. The story was not very compelling or sentimental. I really didn't feel like I had anybody to root for.
None of the performances were very noteworthy or believable. And half the film's dialogue was Spanish with no provided translation.🤷
Sure the cinematography was well done, and the film has a few charming moments, but i would be lying if I didn't say I was disappointed. I have been a fan of Clint Eastwood and his films for as long as I can remember, and this, sadly, I felt was one of his weakest offerings. No disrespect for the man, I still find it impressive that he was able to put this film together at his age in the craziness of a global pandemic, but the end result was not the gem I've come to expect from Eastwood.
