Allow me to start off by saying that I was a huge fan of the original. Patrick Swayze fighting? Yes, please. I was also a huge fan of the reboot. Jake Gyllenhall fighting? Yes, please. (I never claimed to be deep.) Was it a little dumb? Yeah. Did the ending tick me off? Yeah. But I loved the addition of Glass Key Books and Stephen and Charlie, and their windfall. Post Malone was a shocker to me. Was it Oscar-worthy? No. Does it have to be?
