Top gun was one odds my favourite films growing up, I was so looking forward to seeing this film but unfortunately NOWHERE near as good as the first. The film just tries to copy the first but very poorly and with cheesy lines that make you cringe. The storyline of Goose son is ridiculous with him copying everything his dad does, with appearance singing the same songs at the same piano was ridiculous. You even had goose son ie Rooster saying talk to me dad. The volleyball scene which was a special scene in the first film was copied with a football scene which was ridiculous and rubbish. The younger new generation actors who were in this film did not add anything in fact were just annoying. The first half of the film was very slow not much going on, but I will say the ending was good where the mission comes to an end action packed. Overall wish I had not watched this film and remembered the first film as great as it was and not had the memory of this one……
