A warning. I gave No Straight Roads 5* because I personally adore the characters, music, and battles. It's flawed, but it's clearly a labor of love on every level and I really want to see more from the studio. BUT: Whatever you do, do NOT buy the Switch version if you can avoid it. It's even more glitchy/broken than the original, there's a ton of dialogue that's just missing (?????!!), character animations are less detailed, gorgeous backgrounds are replaced with flat ugly patterns. You can't even get 100% completion because some of the items you're supposed to interact with don't work. If the Switch is your only option, I still recommend buying it to support the company. But... if I could redo things, I would either buy it for a different system or just settle for watching playthroughs. They absolutely should not be selling this version of the game for full price.
