I'm gonna include spoilers, but this movie is really, really awful. The acting is so weak. The dialogue is beyond bad. The changes to character origin stories make no sense (Earthrealm fighters like Sub-Zero and Kabal working for Shang Tsung?!). The main character Cole is extremely corny. It feels like they rushed it, or made the movie on a tiny budget. Why have they turned fighter abilities into comic book superpowers...? How come everyone in the movie accepts a bunch of crazy stuff happening like it's all normal? Why does it take multiple fighters to bring Sub-Zero down? The games' story arc is great as is, so why change it and make it totally worse? Most importantly: a Mortal Kombat tournament doesn't even take place in the movie, yet they kill off so many main characters. Truthfully, the first ten minutes is the only good part, though Kano is a likeable character. I don't know why they keep getting these MK movies so wrong...
