I really appreciate the fact that Blue is back! Sure it's a little different and more modern but Steve gave it his blessing and he taught us to explore new ideas and to go on grand adventures - Blue's Clues and You is JUST that! I think the people that are hating on it are clinging too tightly to nostalgia - I understand, I still haven't watched any of the episodes with Joe (I'll get to them eventually). But something about BC&Y feels authentic; fresh yet familiar and I love that. I think the first Blue Generation are a bit bias but they don't need to be - this show wasn't really made for us, after all. It's for the new Blue Generation! Our kids! So let's just embrace change and accept it. Josh is doing a great job! :D

While I get the desire for a satisfying conclusion of the series, this sequel was unnecessary to me. It didn't top the second movie's ending at all (the movie had ACTUAL cameos from popular acapella groups, including Pentatonix); the conclusion felt underwhelming in comparison. I mean, they threw in a kidnapping scene for dramatic's sake... Despite the good stuff in the movie, it still somehow felt sloppy, rushed, and sorta cash-grabby. This entire movie just felt like a way to tie up loose ends that weren't there or weren't important enough to justify. Plus, it gave us more questions: Where's Jesse and Bumper and why did they just suddenly disappear after they were solidly established? Personally, the series would've been fine if this movie didn't exist.
