To get a strong message across a very twisted, tiresome and hackneyed narrative ends in irritation rather than empathy for the prime women characters. A similar theme has been portrayed beautifully in the movie Pink but in this film the denouement is disappointing. The makers are GUILTY of making a poor film for such a telling theme.

Tarantino has indulged himself in this nostalgic throwback of the late '60s early '70s hollywood era with much style and an immersive rendition of the period. Great detailing, technical finesse and his mastery of the medium is evident. However the big let down is an opportunity missed to provide a more meaningful script which leaves one wondering whether the ride back in time was worth it at all. Bruce Lees spoof was tasteless..even bordered on the absurd.

Poor acting,direction and storytelling..of a timeless classic..an opportunity lost to make a great saga unforgettable.

A brilliant film treated with subtlety in contrast to its central theme of injustice, which pervades through each key character, even as they are seemingly at odds with each other. A mother of a raped and murdered daughter, obsessed with getting the police to investigate and find the person responsible for the crime, rents three Billboards questioning the police chief of inaction in the matter, in the hope of evoking a response from him as 7 months have passed without any arrests. The film delivers a multi layered story of human weaknesses and the drive of hope in their lives. A worthwhile watch! Kudos to the Director and cast of wonderful actors.
