Katsuo (光山勝雄)

Alita: Battle Angel was cringy. I haven't read the manga, but I could tell that they tried to adapt way too much material into a single film. There were numerous cinematic tropes and many scenes felt forced. Most of the characters were just pawns to the plot, adopting new motives with no other reason than to conveniently hand Alita her destiny. 3/10 Don't be complicit with mediocrity just because it's swaddled in your favorite concepts and genres.
