Wasted a delightful, rainy afternoon slogging through this poorly written soap opera. I won't discredit the actors, who played their roles to the best of their ability. The writing and production, however, was painfully underwhelming, implausible & disappointingly predictable. No solid effort was put into explaining the myriad changes of heart and feeling that characters experienced and acted on as the story unfolded. And that's just the first season! Second season alternated a new actor for the main father character. Guess this was because Gordo was busy piloting his way to space on For All Mankind (a wise choice). That alone was enough for me to shut S2 off. I am certain that I saved myself another five or so hours of media anesthesia.
