Those books were the most disgusting, depressing books I have ever read. The horrors of what was done to Amy and what she endured were horrific and to me, there was no redeeming value in them. I can't get them out of my mind. What horrible life she lived and for what purpose? She suffered because she dreamed of a bigger life? What a cruel joke. And there was no second chance at happiness for her.
