One of the best movies I have ever seen. The transformation of Macbeth as he becomes frozen over is unparalleled, and the world around him is both real and brutal. Polanski filmed this after his pregnant wife Sharon Tate was brutally murdered by the Manson cult; no doubt the existential horror comes through here.
