Spoiler alert; if you don't want to know what happens, stop reading now. We watched this expecting a good werewolf movie. It was not that. People analyzing the extremely dissatisfying ending think the wolf part of the story is just a young girl's way of dealing with her father being abusive. While metaphors and imagery are all well and good, the ending is simply lazy writing, leaving everything vague and arguable. The problem is that it was simply disappointing in a way that made me want to throw something at the television, frustrated that I wasted my time watching everything that led to the ending. I will not reflect on this movie, I was not inspired to explore a child's interpretation of generational abuse, and I will never recommend this movie to anyone. After this review, I hope to forget I ever watched this misrepresented cinematic garbage.
