I felt okay with season one. It was fine, entertaining but nothing that excited me. And then season two plowed the screen like the masterpiece that it is, checking all the right boxes. Now, the rings of power has another hooked viewer. One who jumps for each new episode. Charlie Vickers, Sam Hazeldine, Robert Aramayo, Morfydd Clark and Charles Edwards have displayed a level of chemistry that is quite addicting and well suited for the storyline. But, also the beautiful aesthetics sweeten the pace and plot like nectar to honey. Well done rings of power.

Carving out Jack-o'-lanterns & clues with 'From' My daughter & I tune in each season, every episode. I have to say, for us, as a horror buff family, that this is by far one of our favorite series. And with that, we are so thrilled to enjoy another season for the spooky season. We will be counting down til sundays with fall treats and activities. Dressing up yet winding down. And we will be tearing apart episodes with creepy myths & lore. This one, that one. Looking, searching for a piece of the horror puzzle so that we may find and place them accordingly. With that in mind, first episode was a fierce start to the new season, too. It delivered in a way that we did not see coming, and left us in shambles. And for an added bonus, through prime we were able to scroll through symbols and clues as well as bonus content (for those who want the extra information or just tire of the week wait) it pulls the series content together in a way that makes it even more fun filled. We can't wait to see what's in store going forward but also nervous to find out what happens next for our band of misfits. Our personal favorites in the group being Boyd, and Jade. But for all the others, too.

Hooked by Episode One.. The chemistry between Daniel Sunjata and Kaitlin Olson has both the right amount of tension for colleagues and potential for romantic partners. Yet, we also get to see this humorous side where Detective Karadec (Sunjata) helps single mother Morgan (Olson) ready her kids for school while also discussing case details. And as a single mother myself with OCD it is nice to see a character who balances oddity with kids, work and home life. Judy Reyes (Selena) is also a marvelous choice in captain, and it's her role that makes it believable that the LAPD would even pursue, Morgan (Olson) as a consultant. We see this moment between her (Reyes) and Morgan (Olson) where she looks at her, woman to woman, and there's understanding, empathy. The scenes, the pace, & storyline also complete it, full circle. If every episode delivers as this one has, but with more depth as the relationships progress, I'll be tuning in each and every week.
