Being a fan of horror movies, I was excited to watch the latest horror flick "Evil Dead Rise." However, I must admit that the movie failed to meet my expectations. For those who are thinking about watching this movie, I want to share my thoughts and an honest review. The movie's 1st half was excruciatingly boring and slowly-paced, taking away all the excitement of a horror flick. It felt like the makers spent too much time on building up the story, but it didn't work out for them. The characters' background story didn't strike a chord, and it became challenging to keep up with the slow pace. However, the second half of the movie was much better and relatively more horrifying. Some scenes were all blood and gore, but unfortunately, they couldn't make up for the bore first half. Despite the attempt at creating jump scares and spooky ambiance, the movie failed to leave a lasting impression. Overall, I wouldn't recommend the movie to anyone because, despite the potential, it failed to deliver. The unexciting first half takes away any chance of making a good impression, and while the second half is better, it still falls short of being a good horror movie. Don't waste your time and money because it's not worth it.
