This movie was really good, watched it on opening day. Going to spill this out, don’t listen to critics honestly, just enjoy the movie. I believe this movie is top-notch and a must-watch film. I feel that Joker has a good realistic setting and somewhat of relatable, political conflicts we have today. This is what really lights up the amazing, yet dark, tone of the movie. CRITICS, he’s a FICTIONAL CHARACTER, I REPEAT A FICTIONAL CHARACTER! Joker is not real everyone, it seems like with every movie now there’s always a controversy surrounding it. If you don’t like the film great, at least let people get a chance to see what a masterpiece of a movie this is.
Joaquin Phoenix was very phenomenal and it seems with all the time and effort he really didn’t fail to impress. This movie is solely about Joker, not too much about anyone else at all. There is not one scene that will go more or so a minute without him. I love some of the suspense that builds with some of the scenes, it really makes a heart beat. Through this dirty city in both literal and metaphorical sense, Joker can only describe himself as someone he’s always wanted to be but because of the cruel world around him, he fails. The dynamics of this world tells reasons for him not being responsible for his actions and seems in a sense of why this character is unique. Although his background may be offensive to some, he still is a person of bitter and sorrow. The climax is what really impresses us all with an iconic “Joker” type of thing.
