Beautiful and vibrant eye-candy that goes so insanely fast that it feels like watching an hour long movie trailer. If you don’t care about good story-telling and quality choreography, just want some beautiful eye-candy for your child, this fits the bill. Know that there are much better animation features out there (Disney classics, The Incredibles, Wall-E, Coraline, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Wallace and Gromit, Spirited Away), but this isn’t the worst. A kid’s movie is never an excuse for a subpar movie. Unfortunately this one is rather mediocre. Rushed pacing is the main culprit. We aren’t given much time for character development. They cut into the next shot just a bit too fast every time they were given a chance. It’s so fast, the whole movie feels like one long trailer with some singing here and there. The audience is never given any time to let important moments sink in, making the characters unrelatable and forgettable. The subject matter is not the problem. If anything, the subject matter is the one of the most unique elements of the movie besides the vibrant and colorful scenes. I had higher expectations because Del Toro was involved, but it just doesn’t have the highs and lows compare to other well rounded animation features out there.

Abosurdist splatterpunk set in the middle of nowhere in some small town ‘Murca. With multiple story arcs supposedly blending into one. I don’t feel like these multiple stories converged as smoothly as it could have, hence the star off. The characters are also not entirely relatable because of how strange they are so personally it’s a movie I’ll mostly forget in a few years, but it was still an entertaining piece. It’s not your usual movie plot, but if you like off-the-spotlight cult movies like Pulp Fiction or Buffalo 66, this would be of interest.

A polished piece of TV entertainment. A girl band “Sherlock” crime drama set in post-war 50’s Britain. Great acting, convincing set and costume designs, quality choreography. It does follow a pretty standard crime drama story line but it’s well done in almost every regard for a TV show and that combination isn’t that easy to come by. Absolutely worthwhile.

This movie (and the sequal) is one of the best 90’s "horror" comedy. It plays with irony and surrealism so well in both visuals and jokes. Full of great puns and golden one liners. ‘Isn’t he a lady killer?’ ‘Acquitted!’.

Unique art style. Almost reminds me of Super Milk Chan. The story started with a bang and ends with something left to be desired but, personally, I still love the universe and the style.

A bland show where lame frat jokes revolves around Sheen being a average-looking middle-aged womanizer, with the rest of the jokes about the kid being dumb and Alan being a boring leech every single episode. This show requires you to accept that Charlie is genuinely cool (otherwise he won't be able to get so many women to sleep with him), but the way they dressed up his character just makes him look like a long term home-dwelling alcoholic. Sheen can look better than that, but they didn't really try to make him look better. So the womanizer angle just doesn't make sense to me. Must be some sort of conscious choice to relate to a certain target demographic. I can understand why Friends and Seinfeld are popular, but this show getting 12 seasons and a reboot is just bizarre.

One of Aardman’s best works besides Wallace and Gromit and Creature Comfort. I’m definitely biased because I grew up with it. It’s your classic claymation with quite a bit of clever comedy, a tough balance to strike for most animation these days. It’s a great show for both kids and adults.

Who doesn't like fantasy comedy WITH singing? It's a classic fairy tale with twists and lots of 4th wall breaking. If you like Princess Bride, you will like this show. ABC made yet another mistake to cancel this show. BRING IT BACK.

Quality offbeat comedy. Quirky little show. Need more seasons.

Disappointingly trite. Shiny set and cast but it just felt like a TV episode dragged out too long. Henry Cavil is an awesome actor but his physique really doesn't suit Sherlock.
