I think people are not thinking objectively about this show and just want another show reusing all the same plot points. As someone who’s quite young and not very familiar with the older shows I’m tired of seeing every show with Batman or some crime fighting strong people use the same storyline but barely changed. Or even blatantly copying each-other. I do believe there are some spots where the show kinda speed-ran and that’s not for some people but most of the bad reviews I see are old people or hardcore OG Batman fans being upset that they aren’t getting another show that they know everything that’s going to happen and feel entitled for every show regarding Batman to have elements that they are used to. I can’t lie old Batman will always be iconic but it’s a new year and honestly time to try new things and experiment. If you’re just gonna compare every little detail to the old Batman shows/comics go watch or re-read those and leave the new stuff for people who are going to look at it with open eyes.
