If you take a moment and browse the review you will see they are nearly all fake and written by Ai or from an agency. In South Africa there has been a lot of cold calling to offer jobs for fake review writing and I get the feeling they were looking for black people to write reviews about a over-the-top "black" show. To be fair, it's not terrible, but it's nothing special or new. But if you consider that the creators or producers have been given a budget to write fake reviews for their show, it's terrible and unethical. Help report this content.

All the ratings i found were high and very posive. Sounded interesting. After the first ten minutes, I genuinely thought it was deliberately filmed as satire and was about to become very serious and high quality. I'm sorry to say, after 20 minutes it still had not. Very race-focused, weak humour. Very bland plot. This is not the sophisticated film the ratings might lead you to believe it is.

We decided to take the chance and watch Beau is Afraid: There has never been anything like this movie before. It can be summarized as a psychological horror comedy about a anxious man in an psychotic world. Think Enter the Void combined with Rick & Morty being directed by Charlie Kaufman. Visually, it is totally immersive, detailed to the finest detail. It leaves you with infinite moments to debate the meaning of. The acting is incredible and the characters unnerving and relatable. The three hours are a wild ride, to for the faint hearted. Recommended to anyone who is very open to strange-strange experiences.
