heart-warming & heart-breaking I went into this, like many others, after watching The Haunting of Hill House, half-expecting it to be a continuation. I didn't watch the trailers or teasers, I just went in with the highest of hopes. SPOILERS: I almost wish this story came first, in terms of short series, but either way it is a fantastic story & the casting was spot-on.. My only complaint would be Flora's character as a young adult.. American accent & all.. it just didn't flow right. But I guess that could have been a tactic to throw us off a bit in the beginning, so as to not give anything away.. I find myself coming back to this series with more fondness each time.. & always, with teary eyes.
