So completely unrealistic. Literally every other character in the film is this horrible person with zero empathy. How many scenes do we need to see where some other character in the background gives a disinterested “tsk…stupid girl…” look. It’s not even just the men which was obviously like… yep got it loud and clear, but just completely one dimensional film making. Julia Garner is such an incredible actor and this script required exactly one facial expression for the entire film.
Like any art form, in film making it’s not enough to just be different, it has to be good as well. I mean different and good would be awesome, but good first, yeah? This was not a good piece of art.
