Villains are great - manipulative, strategic and broken. Whereas the Coppers are absolutely incompetent and self-righteously arrogant - which makes for some very frustrating tv watching. I mean, come on! How can the leads miss so much and be so slow to follow up on evidence! No one trusts anyone, except the villains it seems.
