Didn’t enjoy this film at all. Previews made it look very different than it was. The characters were not interesting. Could have made the story much more compelling with better character development. Long and boring film with horrible and intelligent characters.

I have read this book a few times and love it!! The movie was super disappointing. No real character development and the parts of the book that I was so looking forward to seeing played out by Hessa weren’t even a part of this movie. The character development done in the first movie was dropped in this one. I didn’t even recognize Tessa or Hardin in this film. You couldn’t sense the emotional struggle of their relationship or even the love between them. It was all sex with no real emotion. What could have been an unbelievable movie experience was lost. There were scenes in this book that were notebook worthy. I REALLY wanted to see those scenes. Wish we could get a do over. Guess I’ll just go read the book again. Not sure how you can make movie 3 and 4 any better given how this one played out.
