Richie: Richie is not everyone's cup of tea as the story is narrated in a classic way of story telling, hence the pace is not of a commercial film. Nivin just managed to impress in a Tamil film...! The story line is about a journalist who tries to unfold the mystery behind murder of a gangster Richie on a Christmas eve. She's known to him from childhood. She comes to different different conclusion as she talks to the witnesses. Everybody accompanied him has different different version of stories from their own perspective. Finally she conclude that Richie is a victim of circumstances...! Since I have seen the original version Ulidavaru kandanthe, I did not get the feel of the original version. The highlight of the story is only 'the way of story telling' indeed. Nivin did not excel as Richie but some how he's managed. The highlight of the movie is "Pulikali" with the heavy BGM. Nivin did not make it upto the mark. Some of his dubbing did not go well. At times felt that his voice is not suited for a goon. But it just ok...! 😁
