Definitely the best shooter I have played in a while, with my previous favorites being DOOM (2016) and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (2012). To anyone looking to get into the DOOM franchise, I would advise first playing DOOM (1993) to get a taste of what this series offers. DOOM (1993) is also priced around $5.00 at this moment. Then move forward with DOOM (2016) to gain a better understanding of the modern DOOM game, and after that, then DOOM Eternal (2020). DOOM Eternal somewhat makes DOOM (2016) look slow, despite being a very fast paced game also. DOOM Eternal is basically a reboot of DOOM II (1994), but it takes on more story aspects, and ((SPOILER ALERT)) confirms the fact that the DOOM Slayer from DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal (2020) is in fact the original DOOM Guy from the original DOOM games of 1993 and 1994, along with the originally exclusive Nintendo 64 release titled DOOM 64. Overall it is a very fast paced game and would recommend to anyone looking for a FPS with heavy metal, demon slaying, and a decent story. Rip and Tear.
