This movie is a solid 9/10 and also one of my favourite MCU films, despite the bad reviews the film is getting.
(Spoilers ahead)
What I liked: The 2nd half of the movie is absolutely brilliant, and has comparatively lesser jokes than the 1st half, which I liked. It also has a darker tone, which was mainly due to the fights and scenes that take place in the shadow realm (which was colour-graded brilliantly). A lot of people say that the whole film was a joke and was emotionless, but I think it was full of heart. This is mainly due to the excellent performances by Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and of course, Christian Bale. Tessa Thompson and Taika Waititi were also amazing as their characters, the latter making the movie better with his brilliant (and sometimes funny, all-time wholesome) narration, especially at the end. Russell Crowe was amazing as Zeus, made me really hate the character, and everyone in my theatre felt the same, because we cheered loudest when he supposedly died.
The scene in which Thor says, "Because I love you" to Jane has been very well delivered, and we can feel the emotion in his voice. The scene with Eternity at the end is also amazing emotionally, mainly due to the 3 main characters being brilliantly performed. The 2nd half also has superb action sequences, one of the best in the MCU. I love how Thor wasn't nerfed much, atleast not as much as Strange and Wong were in their own movie (like Thor literally broke open shackles put by Zeus like they were nothing, and proceeded to kill a lot of their guards). Sure, during the final fight he did give kids his power, but he did so not because he could not fight thosee shadow beings, but because he wanted to reach to Gorr asap. And yes, he also required Mighty Thor's help to defeat Gorr, but that atleast shows how powerful Gorr is. This fight and the dialogue were just epic. Matt Damon was amazing in his cameo, loved how he tried to speak like how Tom Hiddleston's Loki would.
What I didn't like: The first half of the film made Thor look like a joke. He literally destroyed a temple while fighting and was all cool about it. It would have been better if they showed Thor atleast helping them rebuild it or something. I guess this scene was a mockery of superheroes "saving" cities, but still, Thor acted like a jerk. Gorr was also pretty weak in the first half, he just got tossed around here and there during the battle, and just kidnapped children with his shadow army. I think they should have included footage of him killing the other (powerful) Gods instead of just showing it all as distress beacons. It would not only have given us more Gorr, but also would have shown how strong he is, going against groups of Gods and killing them in seconds. The story was also a mediocre superhero story, but the dialogue (in the 2nd half) atleast made things a little better. I am deducting only 1 mark overall for this, because I absolutely loved the 2nd half and it balanced up things a little bit.
There are some MCU films which are just meh, but this is not one of them. It's filled with heart, humour and thunder, and this is my opinion. Would definitely watch again, due to the solid action scenes, the good emotional moments and acting.
