The ending for me was a NO NO NO !!!!!! I was waiting for poor wee Lucy to wake up in hospital having suffered a wee subarachnoid haemorrhage but ALL WAS WELL !!!!!!!!! She was still the hero and that twist would have been a JOY ❣️ But the labyrinth we got taken down just confused and irritated me. Sorry Mr Mc Bride……….you came highly recommended too but I will still give the other books a go because it seems like this was a one off disappointment according to other critiques.
