This is a great read. I learned so much. You follow Michelangelo in the last 20 years of his life, living in Renaissance Rome, still carving marble and riding his horse to the St. Peter's worksite every day in his 80s, climbing 150-feet to the dome and showing the stone masons how to build. It is a revelation and an inspiration! Anyone going to Rome should read this book, you will see Michelangelo's masterpieces with new eyes.
