It's an incredible book. One that should serve as a reference for generations to come. Though written from a black perspective, it shows any person how to truly be free. I think it would make a great extra credit book in secondary education and required reading in post-secondary education. Parents should get it for their children when they are old enough. It goes into a lot of the history of the black plight and how Candace was able to escape a lot of the traps that black children fall into. It is very interesting and informative. I struggle to think of any person who would not benefit from its reading.
