My husband and I enjoyed the film and thought that the chemistry between the two main characters was convincing. On the flip side, when my husband and I saw Love Jones together 23 years ago, we thought it was flat, missing something and drawn out. I loved the soundtrack for this movie and now that we've lived in New York state and of course visited New York city, we are now planning trips to NOLA and London. The movie was easy to watch and refreshing that two characters can traverse a relationship without it being laden with heartache, heavy drama and tragedy.
