With a great start pitting Bridges' character against Lithgow's Harper and then their history and Gov't against both of them, the show, by episode 4, bogs down into some sort of soul searching quagmire and then we are beaten to death with Father/ Daughter theme. Have some respect for your viewers and keep some shred of the storyline moving along. Hopefully the show picks up the pace and maybe spends more time on the plotlines and the interesting backstory than making sure we get hammered over the head with the supposed personal agonies. We get it...we really do...

I'm a fan of this series, but #4 wasn't the strongest. It seemed to succumb to typical Hollywood cliches, too many characters, and too much dialogue. Also, while we expect John Wick to be impervious to pain, this time we really had to suspend disbelief to an almost Bruce Willis level. It was still fun to watch, but I really wanted to see more development of the Bowery King's story.
