I watched a YouTuber play it, CJU. I was really looking forward to this, though. IT looked terrific in the trailers, and for the most part, the graphics and details also look so damn great. The animals themselves (monsters) are amazing! But that's where they put all their effort into at the end. At some point the story just takes a nose dive, its incredibly repetitive....And I would have loved to have seen more of an actual threat from the mutated animals. The ending gets wonky in graphics, with very poorly edited cutscenes that jump all over the place very quickly. And while it's not the most significant issue, it's just the talking and mouths of NPCs. Ooof. This game has been largely looked forward to by a massive community, but in the end, it feels like we got played for fools. I'm not sure what happened with the team to make them drop the quality so drastically, But its is quite disappointing to see. I know I was really excited for this...but now I'm just sad and left for wanting. Hopefully, with some patches, it will help pull things together.

I went in hopeful but with low...very low expectations. and yet...I was completely shown otherwise. They did so great with this; I loved every second of it.
