Don't read until you have seen the movie.
I have seen this movie at the theater twice. Tempted to see it again. I love, love, love watching people fall in love. This movie was so close to five stars. I hate, hate, hate that Lilly left Ryle. He was so much in love with her. I really don't feel like he was abusing her. I felt like he had some anger issues that he needed professional help with. When he said, "I will get help," he should have been given the chance. If the writer wanted to make him out to be a woman beater, the abuse should have been much worse. People shouldn't just walk out of marriages. I apologize to any woman who has ever been HIT by a man, but I don't feel like Lilly was being BEAT.
I also feel like Ryle being upset was justified. If Atlas would have never showed up in Lilly's life, I don't feel like Ryle would have had the anger issues he had. Ryle loved Lilly. That was obvious. Lilly should have never had Atlas's number in her phone. She should have thrown it away. Who did she run to when she needed to get away from Ryle? Atlas. She should have went to her mom or sister in law. Lily was emotionally cheating on Ryle. And how did the movie end? Lily running to a man that destroyed her marriage.
I know it's just a movie. Just wish the story was a little different. It would kinda be nice to see happily ever after. I will watch this movie over and over.
