A shark movie can be whatever you want it to be. Firefighters turned deep sea divers, placid lakes with 35’ sharks, sharks that deliver eggs that need to hatch, sharks sliding sideways uphill with no water. This movie raises the genre to a new level of possibility and opens up film making to anyone with an idea (and a few quid spare in the bank). The actors all deserve praise for going with the direction and delivering exactly what the movie needed. Don’t think to much about it - enjoy the freedom, the fun and the (ahem) plot.
