I was disappointed to say the least. I have read all the books. While the first movie took some license it was good viewing. This second movie, it was contrived in some areas and paid little heed to the actual progression in the book. The end while predictable in his ascension to the throne by taking Irulan as his bride should have been handled better than by simply telling Chani he would love her forever but needed to do what was required. It never mentioned that she would continue to be his concubine or that he would not promise Irulan children. Theirs was to be a political marriage only. Chani's pain and hurt at the end was the biggest disappointment of all. I am unsure at this point if I even want to see part 3.
