As a gay former member of the church, this is by far the dumbest, most inaccurate representation of the LDS church, admittedly I found myself laughing out loud. I don’t even think I’m offended by it, it’s like someone made a true crime series and threw in a whole lot Mormon jargon to make it more salacious. Enjoy it for its entertainment value- but view it as the cringiest version that an ex-mormon contemporary could ever write.
