I am a long-time Nintendo fan, since I was able to play video games with my dad we started playing through all the ones available. This movie had references to the majority of the games, even some of the oldest, in both audio and visual representation. Jack Black as Bowser was a wonderful casting choice and Peach was a major girl boss which I loved. Great job Illumination, I hope to see more Nintendo games turned into a cinematic experience as this one has.
