I adore this series. The acting is superb. Catch the nuances from the actors' eyes alone. I like the historic aspect also. It is prewar (WWII) and you can learn from it. I researched the role of Denmark and Sweden in the war. I didn't know that Denmark was occupied by the Nazis. The charm of the era and protocol and traditions (the serving of the meals) are superb. Each episode has a twist and quick pace that you are glued to the TV. Do you catch Edith's walk...... not to mention her facial expressions. She tickles the viewer---- great actress. What am I going to do when I finish the last season :((
